Rudolf Fourie and Max Deveson hold the lion's share of the chips as the final nine players return for Level 17 in the R18k High Roller.

The R18k High Roller has reached a critical juncture as the final nine players pull up their seats at the final table.

Rudolf Fourie and Max Deveson have carved up the lion's share of the 10,670,000 chips in play. Rudolf leads the way with a commanding 2,560,000 stack, worth 85 big blinds, while Max sits hot on his heels with 2,270,000.

These two powerhouses are the only players currently sitting above the 1,186,000 chip average, giving them immense leverage over the rest of the field.

With blinds moving to 15,000/30,000, the tournament has become incredibly top heavy as the leading trio controls over 55 percent of the total chips.

The battle to the money will continue after the players return from their dinner break.
