The R8k Ultimate Tournament

David Ng maintains his lead with 150 big blinds as the R8k Ultimate builds momentum into Day 2.

With all the max late registrations, the total tournament entries surged to 150, generating a R1.02M prize pool. R300K is set for first place.

On Level 15, there are 50 remaining players in contention, with blinds at 8000-16000-16000.

David Ng commands the field, sitting comfortably on a chip-leading stack of 2.4M (150 bigs) and a substantial cushion over the rest of the room.

T.M. holds second position with 1.8M, while Gareth Duncan sits in third on 1.05M, followed by Gabriel Soma with 935K and Herman Pieterse holding 865K.

All five of the top stacks hold 50 big blinds or more, providing plenty of room for deep-stacked post-flop play as the field continues to battle toward the money.
