African Ace Poker Desk · 2026-08-02
Cas du Toit takes 450k chips into Day 2 at R2K Turbo, leading 30 players still in the hunt.
There are 30 players out of 45 entries who advanced to Day 2 of the R2K Turbo.
This should increase as late registration runs to the start of Day 2. Blinds resume on 2500-5000-5000.
There are 6.7M chips in play, which means the average stack sits on 224K.
Cas du Toit leads them all on 450k - two times the average and 90 big blinds to play with.
Rudolf Fourie is closest on 401,000, with Jimmy Armougom on 359,000 next in line.
What The Counts Mean
12 players return with 50 big blinds or more, deep enough to play post-flop rather than just shove.
The top three hold 18% of the chips in play, so the counts are still tightly packed.
13 of the 30 sit at or above the 224,000 average.
