African Ace Poker Desk · 2026-07-25
Rudolf Fourie takes 370k chips into Day 2 of the R20K SUP Championship as 28 players grind towards a prize pool already over R1 million.
A total of 28 players bagged and tagged at the R20K SUP Championship and return for Day 2.
The event’s initial R750 000 guarantee has already been smashed with the current prize pool already crossing the R1M mark.
And this will only increase as Day 2 starts at 11AM and late registration will run until 1:40PM.
There are 3.7M chips in play, which sees the average stack stand at 135,179.
Rudolf Fourie is the early chip leader with 370,000. That’s 2.7 times the average (185 big blinds).
Eben Lottering is closest on 320,000, with Damon Fine on 290,000 in third.
What The Counts Mean
The top 16 players return with 50 big blinds or more.
The top three hold 26% of the chips in play, so the counts are still tightly packed.
11 of the 28 sit at or above the 135,179 average.
2 of the 28 will be under pressure with less than 20 big blinds in Ricky Toker and Neville Mutsvangwa.
