R1.2 Million Prize Pool Confirmed for Emerald Main

African Ace Poker Desk · 2026-09-12

R12.5k Main Event

The registration desks have closed and the numbers are officially locked in for the Emerald Main Event. A field of 119 entries has generated a R1,264,375 prize pool.

With only 27 players remaining on the felt, the pressure is mounting. The field must be trimmed down significantly before anyone secures a return on their investment, as only the final table of nine players will walk away with a share of the cash.

A min-cash is worth R44,375, but all eyes are on the massive R450,000 first-place prize that awaits the eventual champion. The runner-up will also take home a healthy R250,000.

Here is a look at the full payout structure for the final table:

| Position | Payout | | :--- | :--- | | 1st | R450,000 | | 2nd | R250,000 | | 3rd | R155,000 | | 4th | R110,000 | | 5th | R85,000 | | 6th | R65,000 | | 7th | R55,000 | | 8th | R50,000 | | 9th | R44,375 |
