Marko Savvas secured the trophy and R96,500 after a three-way deal with Gareth Duncan and Imran Bhojani.

The Emerald Blast has concluded with a three-way deal at the final table, crowning Marko Savvas as the champion. Marko secured the trophy and a top payout of R96,500, while Gareth Duncan and Imran Bhojani each walked away with R94,000 after negotiating a split.

The result marks an incredible day for the Savvas family, with Marko taking home the Emerald Blast on the same day that his father Savva Savvas took down the Main Event across the room.

Their paths to victory showed that the old poker adage of a chip and a chair always rings true. At their respective final tables, both Savva and Marko found themselves down to their last six big blinds. Facing elimination, both players dug deep, navigated the pressure and spun their short stacks back into title-winning runs.
