R12.5k Main Event

We look forward to the R12500 Main Event at the Emerald Poker Series this evening, offering players a deep 50K starting stack and three days of premium tournament poker.

The wait is over for tournament players across the country as the flagship R12500 Main Event prepares to take centre stage tonight.

It’s the tournament organised in honour of South African poker stalwart Rudolf Fourie, who has made a massive contribution to the local game for many years.

Cards will be in the air at 6pm sharp, marking the start of three days of tournament poker.

Players sitting down will receive a decent starting stack of 50K chips.

With a slow, player-friendly blind structure locked in, there will be plenty of room for post-flop play, creative manoeuvring and strategy.

The tournament is structured to run over three days, giving the region's best players ample time to build a stack and navigate their way toward the final table.

For those still planning their schedule, late registration remains open until 2pm on Saturday, giving latecomers plenty of opportunity to get in on the action.

Whether you are a seasoned local professional, a passionate recreational or an aspiring satellite qualifier, this is the tournament everyone wants to win.
