Darren Kramer finished with bronze in the Super High Roller after his pocket 3s were cracked by Jarred Solomon’s QJ.

Three-handed and on the button as the short stack, Darren put his stack in the middle holding pocket 3s, Jarred Solomon on his direct left made the call with QJ of diamonds and Shaun folded.

The flop came A84 with no diamonds, a great start for Darren’s 3s. The turn made no difference to either player as the 4 of diamonds fell.

Left with just 6 outs on the river, Jarred needed help to knock out Darren, which came in the form of a J of spades.

This spelled the end of a great run by Darren who will surely be pleased with his 2nd place ICM cash.

We are now left with just 2 players, as Jarred Solomon and Shaun Govender begin to play heads up for the trophy.
